What KYC verification requires
Our KYC process asks for three pieces of information: your legal name, a valid government-issued ID, and proof of your residential address. The ID can be a passport, national ID card (KTP), or driver's license. Proof of address can be a utility bill, bank statement, or government letter — any document dated within the last three months that shows your name and current address.
We collect this information through our account portal. You upload photos or scans of your documents directly into your account. Our verification team reviews the images, checks them against our database, and confirms or requests clarification. We do not share your documents with third parties and store them with encryption on our servers.
The verification process is visual and automated where possible. Our system scans your ID for validity markers — expiration date, security features, readability. If the scan passes, a human reviewer confirms the details match your account registration. If anything is unclear, we email you with a specific request for clarification or a re-upload.
Typical turnaround is 1-2 business days during Jakarta business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM). If you submit documents on a Friday evening, expect a response by Monday or Tuesday. If you submit during a holiday period (around Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, or Imlek), expect a longer queue.
Why kytoto requires KYC verification
KYC verification serves three purposes: regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and account security. Indonesian financial regulators require all money-movement platforms to verify customer identity. Payment processors like DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, and local payment enforce the same requirement. Without verification, we cannot legally accept deposits or process withdrawals.
From a fraud perspective, verification prevents account takeover and money laundering. If someone tries to open an account using a fake ID or stolen identity, our verification team catches it. If a verified account suddenly requests a large withdrawal to a new payment method, our compliance team flags it for review. These checks protect both you and the platform.

Your account also gains withdrawal privileges. You can request a withdrawal at any time, subject to your daily withdrawal limit. New accounts (verified within 7 days) have a lower daily limit. Verification and account security
KYC verification is the foundation of account security on kytoto. Once verified, your account is linked to your real identity and address. If someone tries to access your account without your password, we can verify their identity against your KYC documents. If you are in Medan and submit documents at 10 AM local time, they enter our queue in Jakarta timezone.
During major sporting events (Liga 1 finals, Piala AFF, Champions League knockout rounds), verification volume can spike. If you are planning to deposit for a specific match, submit your KYC documents a few days in advance to avoid delays.
